Bill Young specializes in beating the College Football odds posted by oddsmakers each and every week. Week 3 College Football point spreads are now available so you can be sure that all day Bill will be analyzing these upcoming games to produce another day filled with winners this weekend. Bill went 4-2 last Saturday in college football. Thursday the action starts right away with Bill’s West Virginia/Maryland game on ESPN. Oddsmakers list the Mountaineers as 16.5-point favorites on the road at Maryland. The Mountaineers have one of the best offenses in the land, but their defense holds the key to a cover here. Iowa/Iowa State is a big In-State rivalry game that is always played tough. The Hawkeyes of Iowa are listed as 17-point favorites at Iowa State. If this game is played as competitive as it usually is, the Cyclones will stay within the number for sure. Tennessee and Florida to toe-to-toe in SEC Action this weekend. Tim Tebow gets his first real challenge since taking over at quarterback for the defending World Champion Gators. Florida is listed as 8-point favorites at home.

Michigan and Notre Dame have yet to win a game this season. The Wolverines are a 7-point favorite at home. One thing is for certain; Lloyd Carr or Charlie Weiss will be under even more scrutiny when they start the season with an 0-3 record once this baby is all said and done. Ohio State and Washington is an under-the-radar game that should be extremely exciting. Washington and Ty Willingham are off to a 2-0 start with big wins over Syracuse on the road and Boise State at home. Redshirt freshman QB Jake Locker might just save Willingham’s job this season. The Huskies are a serious sleeper against the Buckeyes as 4.5-point underdogs Saturday. Louisville and Kentucky is another big In-State rivalry game with the Cardinals listed as 6.5-point favorites on the road. Louisville’s defensive weaknesses were on full display last week as Middle Tennessee torched the Cardinals defense for 35 first-half points. Kentucky has a deadly trio at QB, RB and WR that can put up points with the best offenses in the SEC. 6 rushing touchdowns last week against Kent State shows how effectively the Wildcats can run the ball. Now the question is can Kentucky hold Brian Brohm and Louisville’s offense in check. The Cardinals could have the most explosive offense in the nation.
